Rizal Firmansyah had been guiding visitors to Bromo since 2014 — first as part of a large tour agency, sharing a Jeep with eight strangers, rushing through one of the world's most extraordinary landscapes. He knew there was a better way.
In 2019, together with his brother Ahmad, he founded The Journey on one simple principle: one group per trip, never more. No strangers joining your vehicle. No shared schedules. Just your group, our best guides, and enough time to actually be present.
